Free Drum Kit – Roland TR-808

This free drum kit is sure to be welcomed by all you beat makers out there. It is the legendary Roland TR-808. This drum machine has been around since the beginning of hip hop and used in early beats like “Planet Rock” and throughout several Run-DMC albums.

The 808’s most famous sound is that of it’s very deep sub-bass kick drum which has helped it stay popular even to this day. It’s used in all forms of dance music and for Southern style beat makers like Lil Jon it is a staple of their hip hop production.

Famous beat maker Kanye West even went so far as to make an album where all tracks use the 808 called “808’s and Heartbreak”.
